CHARTER OF THE HOMES FOR JESUS CENTER OF INFLUENCE

This Charter establishes the Homes for Jesus Center of Influence (HJCI) as a ministry aligned with Seventh-day Adventist beliefs, dedicated to forming vibrant Homes for Jesus Communities, supporting mission and community outreach efforts, and growing fruitful disciples to the glory of God. www.homesforjesus.org shall serve as the primary digital platform to advance this mission.

ARTICLE I: MISSION, VISION & VALUES

1.1 Mission Statement

To form, equip, and connect Homes for Jesus Communities and supporting organizations; to facilitate Adventist mission and community outreach; and to nurture disciples who live out biblical principles in their homes, churches, and communities.

1.2 Vision Statement

A global network of Christ-centered homes transforming lives and communities for God’s glory, unified and strengthened through digital collaboration and faithful discipleship.

1.3 Core Values

ARTICLE II: THE HOMES FOR JESUS CENTER OF INFLUENCE (HJCI)

2.1 Purpose & Scope

HJCI shall:

  • Oversee formation and accreditation of Homes for Jesus Communities
  • Coordinate support for mission and outreach initiatives, particularly in the Province of Masbate, Philippines/Bicol Region and globally
  • Develop and curate discipleship resources
  • Govern and maintain www.homesforjesus.org as the official digital hub

2.2 Governance Structure

  • Steering Committee: 5-7 Adventist leaders with expertise in ministry, community development, and technology
  • Technical Working Group: Manages website development and maintenance
  • Content & Formation Team: Oversees spiritual resources and training materials
  • Local Outreach Liaison: Connects HJCI with communities in the Province of Masbate/Bicol Region and beyond

2.3 Key Responsibilities

  • Approve all major website updates and content frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with Adventist church policies and legal requirements
  • Manage budget and resource allocation for platform development
  • Foster partnerships with other Adventist organizations

ARTICLE IV: ACCREDITATION OF HOMES FOR JESUS COMMUNITIES

Through www.homesforjesus.org, HJCI shall accredit communities that:

  1. Affirm adherence to Seventh-day Adventist beliefs and this Charter
  2. Commit to biblical discipleship and community outreach
  3. Complete required training modules available on the website
  4. Agree to regular reporting and accountability processes

ARTICLE V: AMENDMENTS & REVIEW

This Charter shall be reviewed annually by the Steering Committee. Amendments may be proposed by any HJCI working group or accredited community, with approval requiring a two-thirds majority vote of the Steering Committee. Website development updates shall align with any revised provisions within 90 days of approval.

ARTICLE VI: IMPLEMENTATION TIMELINE

Phase 1 (Months 1-3): Website framework development, core content creation, and governance structure finalization

Phase 2 (Months 4-6): Beta testing with communities in the Province of Masbate, Philippines/Bicol Region, accessibility optimization, and donation system integration
